Auckland is fantastic. First you must visit
the Sky Tower. It is the tallest building in the southern
hemisphere and there are tours for the building and
a lot to do. We are sure you will enjoy it. The next
must see is the Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter
& Underwater World where you can watch how the
undersea life lives through an underwater glassed
in tunnel.
The Auckland Zoo is just
fantastic, even if the kids aren’t along with
you on the trip you will enjoy this day spent with the
friendly animals. Then, if you can take the expedition
to the top of the Auckland Harbour Bridge please do
so and take a lot of pictures. Don’t if you are
afraid of heights. It is pretty high up there. You will
also want to see Piha Beach. It is
one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, but watch
for riptides they can be deadly.
The Waitakere Ranges,
Mt. Victoria and the Tawharanui Regional Park
are two very awesome places for outdoor wonderful scenery.
You could spend hours just exploring these areas so
wear comfortable shoes if you plan to. With all there

Sky Tower

The Sky Tower is the highest building in the Southern
Hemisphere. At the top is a revolving restaurant and
there are shops, bars, clubs and theatres. It is its
own complex. There is so much to do and see and this
is a must see for all visitors to the Auckland area.

World you will watch the underwater world and how it
lives through glass enclosed underwater tunnels. It
is a fabulous day for everyone. Spend a couple hours
in this most fascinating place. There is also a discovery
room for more fun to see and do. It is quite and enjoyable
experience.

The Auckland Zoo has an Aviary, A Hippo Zoo, A Rainforest
and a whole lot more. This is an adventure in wildlife.
You will spend an entire day with the animals and love
every minute of it. The zoo has a lot of events including
a New Years Eve party which is fun for the whole family.
Aotea Centre

For a multi-level theatre experience it is at the Aotea
Centre. It was commissioned by the Auckland City Council,
so that the Auckland area would have an international
class entertainment venue for the people and visitors
of the area. There is plenty to enjoy at this state
of the art entertainment complex.
Auckland Harbour Bridge

Since November, 2001 People are now allowed to climb
to the top of the bridge in organized expeditions. This
is the Auckland Harbour Bridge and you will definitely
want to take the expedition to the top. To bridge is
3,350 feet and well worth a look and have your camera
handy.
Piha Beach

This is a beach you will want to see though keep clear
of the water when there are deadly rip currents. There
is black sand and rough surf. You can also walk along
paths to other secluded beaches and there is camping
and changing rooms. This beautiful beach known for its
Lion Rock Vistas.
Mt. Victoria

A beautiful area with tended trees and gardens this
is Mt. Victoria one of the many volcanic cones in the
Auckland area. There is an excellent view of the city
and the harbour and the afternoon can pass blissfully
away in this scenic area. Take your time and enjoy the
scenery.
Tawharanui Regional Park

Tawharanui Regional Park has snorkelling and camping
also. There are secluded beaches and fishing. It is
located off the Tokatu Peninsula just north of Kawau
Island and east of Warkworth. It is a beautiful park
offering hours of fun and relaxation. The beautiful
scenery of the area is great for picture taking.

Over 20 million years ago there were volcanic eruptions
that caused in their wake The Waitakere Ranges. Now
you can walk along them and through them. The Cascade
Kauri Track can be walked across for spectacular views
of the area. A lot of recreational activities go on
at the Ranges.
Karangahake Gorge

Karangahake Gorge used to be a gold mining town 100
years before. The New Zealand walkway goes through a
tunnel and along a walkway offering very beautiful view
of the area. It is surrounded by mountains and there
are mining camps ruins. There are tours that are offered
